What patients say on Google

“The professionalism and support has been fantastic. Dr. Chakos is caring, knowledgeable and super supportive. She and the staff at LifeStance Health use a holistic approach to managing your overall wellbeing and life situation. They will help you with any available resource for your mental health road to recovery. I thank her and the LifeStance staff for their commitment.”

“Patricia is awesome. My first contact with her was reasonable. I don’t understand why she doesn’t show up on the appointment time online. We signed in at 7;03 because you have to complete some questions prior to your appointment and she was not on. I tried calling and the office was closed. This the second time and no one calls to find out why you were not able to make it. They charge you. Customer service doesn’t want to tell me how to rate them. Horrible. Even if I’m illiterate, it’s your place to advocate for your patients.”

“Natashia is amazing. She makes you feel special. She is a wonderful listener and seems to care about what I say. Also, the staff that checks you in does so with a sincere smile and such a pleasant attitude. I am so pleased that they were referred to me.”

“I’ll be honest—reaching out for therapy in the first place was one of the hardest parts for me. It takes a lot to admit you need support, make the appointment, arrange your schedule, and mentally prepare yourself to show up. My first appointment was canceled because I had somehow been scheduled on Memorial Day, a federal holiday. I was contacted and told it was a scheduling error. Frustrating, but mistakes happen, so I agreed to reschedule. Then the day of the rescheduled appointment arrived, and I was informed that the scheduling office had double-booked the therapist and she wouldn’t be able to see me after all. At that point, it was hard not to feel defeated. When you’re finally ready to ask for help, the last thing you want is to feel like you’re chasing it. I understand that scheduling mistakes happen, but having two appointments canceled back-to-back because of preventable administrative errors made me feel like my time and effort weren’t valued. Mental health care should feel accessible and supportive from the very first interaction. Instead, my experience left me feeling discouraged and reluctant to continue the process. For anyone who already struggles with taking that first step toward getting help, repeated cancellations like this can be enough to make them give up altogether. I genuinely hope the office improves its scheduling practices, because no one seeking therapy should have to jump through this many hoops just to be seen.”
