What patients say on Google
“I couldn’t even get in touch with them. I called to make an appointment as a new patient and nobody answers the phone. Always to voicemail. I left a message. Their answering machine states “Your call will be returned in the order your message was received. Please don’t leave multiple messages.” I feel like when a company says that, they probably don’t get back to their patients. It’s been almost 2 weeks and still haven’t heard anything back. Getting back to your patients in a timely manner is vital, especially in psychiatric care. Definitely not a business that I want to put my care into their hands.”
“I missed my intake because I had a family medical emergency. Should I have called to let them know? Yes, but I was a little preoccupied and I forgot. I emailed asking to reschedule, explained I missed my appointment for a family medical emergency, and was told they’d be in touch. After not hearing anything, I emailed to follow up and received this response: “Good Afternoon, we do apologize for not getting back to you sooner. Unfortunately with our policies for New Patients that do not call or show we will not be able to reschedule.” Banning a patient from your practice because they missed one appointment seems a little extreme. I could absolutely understand if I had scheduled multiple appointments and no showed all of them, but it was one time for a family medical emergency. Perhaps mental healthcare isn’t the field for you if this is your business model.”
“I’ve been seeing Dr. Saleem for over two years. He is hands down the best psychiatrist I’ve ever had. He doesn’t push medications at me, he will ask me if I want to try something else or change the dosage. He takes into consideration how many medications I’m on and is very careful when adding a new medication. If he adds one he’ll take one away. When I called him one day and told him I needed to go to the hospital, he didn’t hesitate. He got me in within two hours. He saved my life. He’s more than my psychiatrist, he takes on the role of a therapist sometimes. He’s easy to talk to and wants to hear my thoughts and feelings. He is prompt when responding to my portal messages. I see reviews about wait times but that’s a good sign, I want a provider that’s not going to rush my appointment. Finding a psychiatrist or therapist is like a dating game of sorts, not everyone is going to be the perfect fit but my guy, Dr. Saleem is top tier!”
“I started seeing Dr.Clarke a year ago and she is one of the most kind, wonderful, and attentive doctors I have ever had. Not only that but the front staff are always happy to answer questions and help in any way possible. These are some of the greatest people and have totally erased my fears of having an uncaring psychiatrist or staff. I’m so thankful for them :)”
